FAQs

Do you do mobile treatments?

  • My work is based at my own home rather than travel to clients or work in a salon. There are many reasons why this works better - both for the client and myself.

Working from my home means -
  • The cost of the treatments I offer doesn't include petrol, car insurance costs or the cost of owning or renting salon space.
  • Unlike a high street Nail Salon, you won't have to struggle to find a parking space - There is a guaranteed parking space and no risk of getting a parking ticket.
  • You aren't responsible for ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • You don't have to make sure I have easy access to electricity and water.
  • You aren't waiting while I set everything up.
  • You can begin your treatment straight away.
  • Your appointment time is quicker.
  • It also gives the client flexibility with their treatment choices - because I will have everything available here in case of a change of mind.
  • There isn't the inconvenience of me having to pack everything up

I have pet allergies/I am nervous around
animals - do you have any pets at home?

Yes, we do have a very friendly dog called Deana

I totally understand your concern...As she is usually allowed access to the salon room,
it is best if people who have severe allergies do not attend appointments with me
as I can't guarantee an environment that will not set off an allergic reaction.

For people who are are nervous around animals there is no need to worry at all.
She is an old dog who doesn't try to jump at people.
She just likes to say hello but she will happily move away when told to.
She is not allowed access to the room during my working hours -
although she does like to try to hang around in the hope of a bit of attention!
For people who would love to meet the animals - that can always be
arranged too...Deana loves to make new friends!
