My name is Laura
I am, and have always been, passionate about nails!
I loved long nails as a child so much I used to make
nails for myself with Blu Tack!
As a teenager I bought a huge collection of Nail polish and
always had an assortment of dazzling colours ready for any occasion.
I would even take them into school to paint friends nails during our lunch hour!
Later I became a self-taught manicurist and would spend hours doing my own nails.
Many years down the line, with my children both at school, I wanted to work.
When I began to consider what career would be perfect for me, I thought...
"What am I passionate about...interested in...and good at?"
....the answer was glaringly obvious.
So in 2016 I got my Manicure and Pedicure diploma,
and followed that with my CND Shellac conversion course.
Then I trained in Hard gel extensions and then did my e-file training.
Most recently I did a training course using CND Shellac Luxe.
I believe that it is vital that a nail technician always looks at improving their skills and
expanding their knowledge. So I am always researching information about this industry.
I view my work as being as much about educating people about their nail health
as it is to provide care for the nails and make them look amazing.
My job is not just to decorate nails - my job is to fully understand everything
about nails and provide you with the very best nail care.
I plan to continue my education as new innovations are always happening.
I am fully insured and I work in my comfortable home Nail Salon.
With a background in art and design, I am able to combine my work
as a manicurist with my creative artistic skills.
It's always a thrill to create an original Nail Art design
for a client for those special occasions.
